American Renaissance School Hosts Family-Friendly Car & Talent Show Fundraiser on May 3
American Renaissance School (ARS) is excited to invite the community
Our Capital Campaign is a pivotal initiative that will provide necessary funds to allocate towards much-needed updates and improvements to our campus and elementary and intermediate schools, as well as pay off debts. These updates are crucial to ensure that our facilities match the high standard of education we provide, offering our students an environment conducive to learning and growth.
Building the Future: The American Renaissance Arts and Science Center
One of the most exciting pillars of our RAISE Capital Campaign has been the development of the American Renaissance Arts and Science Center—a transformative space that expands opportunities for learning, creativity, and community connection.
Located in the beautifully restored historic Statesville Record and Landmark Building, the Center serves as a dynamic home for both STEM education—science, technology, engineering, and math—and the arts, including chorus, band, drama, and visual art.
At the heart of the Center is the flexible Black Box Theatre, designed to host performances, student showcases, and community events. This shared space highlights our commitment to enriching both our students’ lives and the cultural fabric of downtown Statesville.
With your support, American Renaissance School stands as a bold symbol of innovation, imagination, and partnership—solidifying ARS’s role as not just a school, but a cornerstone of our community’s future.

By supporting this campaign, you’re not just contributing to a cause; you’re investing in our students, the revitalization of our downtown community, and the future of education. Your support helps us create an environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
As a charter school, we receive academic funding from the North Carolina Department of Public Education but lack state funds for facility costs. That’s why your donations to the school are so important to its continued and growing success.
Choose a one-time, monthly, quarterly, or annual donation.
Our RAISE Campaign isn’t just about funding—it’s about the people who make ARS a place where learning comes alive. Here, you’ll meet some of the incredible families who’ve been part of our journey. They are entrepreneurs, educators, volunteers, and dreamers—each with a unique story that reflects the heart of our school community.
These stories remind us why we RAISE:
To nurture potential | To invest in futures | To strengthen the bonds that make ARS not just a school—but a family.
