Recently, the ARS Robotics Department participated in its first-ever Lego Robotics Tournament, held in Mount Holly, N.C., at Mountain Island Charter School. The teams competed in three categories. The first category was the Innovation Project, where students identified a problem, devised an innovative solution, and presented it to a panel of judges. The second category focused on Robot Design and Core Values. In this session, students detailed their robot design and explained how they collaborated as a team to overcome the challenges they faced throughout the season. Lastly, the teams competed on the Lego Challenge Board, aiming to complete various missions and accumulate as many points as possible. The students did an outstanding job and are excited to continue their Lego journey in the future.
