American Renaissance School
follows the North Carolina
Standard Course of Study.

At American Renaissance School, we focus on the WHOLE child. In grades K-8 we use Illustrative Mathematics and 3-8 Get More Math as a supplemental resource. In K-2 we use Heggerty Words and K-8 EL Education for ELA. In K-3 Mystery Science and 4-5 Discovery ED are used to support science curriculum. We strive to deliver a curriculum that allows students to become proficient in their grade level academic standards while working to meet the social and emotional needs of our students. To support instruction we offer many supplemental learning tools such as IXL, STAR, Accelerated Reader, Learning A to Z, Get More Math, and Discovery ED. All students at ARS have Art, Music, Spanish, PE and K-3 Theater.

Intermediate and Middle School News

Uniform Policy Please ensure that your child is following our Dress Code Policy. Many students change upon arriving at school and/ or arriving out of uniform. Students must wear an ARS jacket once inside the school building. In addition, sneakers only are required. Boots, Crocs, slides, and other shoes are prohibited as they are safety concerns.
