"I will forever be grateful for the amazing nine years I spent at ARS. Not only was I consistently given a stellar education, but the school allowed me to make lifelong friends. Even now, we often joke that the most important things in life, we learned within the walls of ARS — though we may be joking when we say it, we know that for the most part, it’s completely true. The school not only fostered a sense of community that helped us build empathy and compassion, but also delivered instruction in such a way that over ten years later, I still vividly remember many of the lessons we were given. Now, it’s my honor to inspire my students in the same way my teachers at ARS always inspired me. I think it’s so important that ARS allows students to focus on the arts. It wasn’t until we were given a creative writing assignment in class that I realized I could write for fun. I still remember that piece I wrote in sixth grade: I haven’t stopped writing since. It’s thanks to ARS that I had the confidence to pursue writing as a career and recently had my first piece published in a literary journal! I will never be able to properly convey just how much my time at ARS has positively impacted my life — I am so very thankful that I got the chance to go to such an amazing school!" - Gabby Parker
