This spring we will take the 7th grade students on an exciting trip to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We only take this trip in 7th grade, so don’t miss your opportunity! We will visit Roanoke Island Festival Park, the site of the first English settlement in America, and investigate ocean life at the North Carolina Aquarium. We will visit the National Wright Brothers’ Memorial and climb “Big Kill Devil Hill.” We will explore Jockey’s Ridge State Park with the largest living natural sand dune on the East Coast. We will climb lighthouses and take ferry rides on the ocean. We will participate in the Crystal Coast Lady Ocean Studies Program for some hands on ocean science. We will learn while having lots of FUN!
